Kristy Newcomer, CPA

Kristy Newcomer, CPA, is a seasoned accountant with over 30 years’ experience in audit, tax, and corporate accounting. Before joining LiftBridge in 2024, she spent 10+ years as a Controller for growth companies, both private and PE backed, where she was responsible for accounting, audit, tax, HR, and financial reporting activities as well as software implementation and staff training programs. She began her career as an auditor with CliftonLarsonAllen and continued in public accounting as a corporate tax accountant.

At LiftBridge, Kristy leads the Client Accounting Services team and supports companies as a fractional Controller. She spent 10 years in the construction industry, and she currently serves clients in the manufacturing, technology and non-profit sector. She has a talent for bringing structure to the finance function, quickly assessing capabilities of existing systems to streamline accounting workflow, processes and internal controls.

She received her undergraduate degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Kristy enjoys hiking, volunteering at her local animal shelter and being an active member of the Kiwanis Club.
